“Does insurance cover IVF?” It is a question often asked by new patients when considering, affording fertility care. You may be surprised to learn that there is a very good chance that your current health plan offers some type of infertility coverage for treatment and most patients have coverage for their initial consultation and testing. Patients with insurance coverage are responsible for their copay, co-insurance and deductibles. If there is no insurance or no infertility coverage, our billing department will speak to you about different programs we have available to help with the cost. Once patients schedule their initial visit with our physician, the billing department will verify benefits prior to the initial consultation. After their visit, all patients will have an opportunity to sit down with a member of our Business Office to discuss their coverage in detail.
